About The Plant Tribe

The Plant Tribe project was initiated in September 2022; and grew out of a reasoning shared over a period of years between Firstman, co-founder of Rastafari Indigenous Village; and Steve DeAngelo, lifelong cannabis activist. The operational core of the project is to build a viable alternative to  the dominance of therapeutic, commercially focused psychedelic companies. The greater objective is to build a connected global community of people who view the psychedelic sacrament as a vehicle for social change and environmental sanity. At present, we are an unincorporated association; but intend to establish formal status as a trust, spiritual organization, or other appropriate entity. About Visionary Plants

Human beings have talked with and learned from visionary plants since we became human. It was how we double-checked ourselves; how we made sure our daily actions were in alignment with our hearts. This ancient, millennia long practice was ended (in the western world) by a reign of terror launched when the Roman Empire adopted Christianity. The result was the dawn of the Dark Ages, and the creation of a toxic industrial civilization that fails to respect living creatures or the planet we all depend on for life. 

The Plant Tribe is now reclaiming this ancient heritage; we are learning again from the wisdom of the plants; and we will use these lessons to build societies that honor justice and love over power and greed.
